Lace Week events are organised taking into account the development of the COVID-19 pandemic. Safety is our number one priority. The event is organised in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare for preventing the spread of coronavirus infections at public events, as well as government guidelines and regulations. Special attention is paid to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety distances at the venues. The events have been planned with a particular focus on ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations.
All staff members, subcontractors and performers who work at the event undertake to comply with the safety instructions issued to them. All attendees are expected to abide by the following instructions:
- Do not attend Lace Week events if you have a fever or flu-like symptoms. This applies to all attendees, performers and event staff.
- Using a face mask in the event area is strongly recommended.
- Proper cough etiquette and hand hygiene should be observed at the venues: wash or sanitise your hands before you arrive at the event and also afterwards. If you cough, cough into a handkerchief or your sleeve.
- Maintain a proper safety distance from other people. Also keep your distance while standing in line.
The event organisers provide guidance and assist in the implementation of these safety instructions to ensure a safe event environment.
Thank you for your cooperation. It is extremely important that we take all measures necessary to improve public safety. Together we can ensure the safety of all event participants.
These instructions may be updated or modified.
