Poselli, Nortamonkatu 12. Tatting is a method of making lace with a small shuttle. The method brings unlimited chances of creating jewellery, book marks, small doilies etc. For more information, search online: “frivolite” or “tatting”. Course is for both beginners and more advanced enthusiasts. Bring your own equipment, or buy or borrow equipment from the teacher. Teacher: Risto Lindholm. 13:00 Hike and recover on the Omenapuumaa nature trail
The trail starts at Keskuspuisto park, outside Cafe Passion, Valtakatu 2 B. The trail involves hiking on the beach and in the forest. Enjoy the peace and quiet of nature and learn how nature can improve your wellbeing under the guidance of a nature connection guide. The trail will include small and relaxing nature connection exercises and exploring nature through other fun activities. Black pot coffee and small snacks will be enjoyed in the midst of nature. The length of the trail is approximately 6km. Remember to pack weather appropriate clothing, sturdy and preferably waterproof shoes, and something to drink. The participation fee (60 €) includes guide services, transport, coffee and snacks. Duration: approx. 3.5–4 h. The trail is intended for people over 12 years of age. Old Rauma relay race
The race starts at the Old Rauma Market Square. The event starts with a warm-up exercise. A playful relay race in teams of four. The race takes place in the streets of Old Rauma. Team members have to come up with a fun name for their team, matching outfits, and a baton, which can be pretty much anything (a baby carriage, a fire extinguisher, a ball, a bat, etc.). Each member will run a distance of approximately 500 meters. The race will not be timed. The most original outfits and batons will be awarded. Sign your team up here (form in Finnish).
